The waffle maker features a removable cooking plate that allows you to swap plates with different cooking surfaces depending on what kind of waffle you want to prepare. Croquade provides (2) different plates with the waffle maker a plate for making traditional Belgian waffles and a plate for making stuffed waffles that can be filled with fresh fruit jam chocolate or anything else you can think of. There are (6) other plates available for purchase separately and they allow you to cook other styles of waffles as well as sandwiches and ice cream cones. The plates are made of cast aluminum and are dishwasher safe. They have also been treated with a non-stick coating so waffles can be removed from the plate easily.
